Stroke and What You Need to Know About It
The topic of a stroke is a very sensitive subject for me because my grandfather lost his life after a culmination of them. He also did not properly take care of himself through some form of exercise and nutrition. Our bodies are designed to adapt, adjust, and correct itself if there’s a problem with it. When pain, injury, sickness, or disease arises, the internal mechanism within our body looks for ways to repair itself. As our body begins the healing process it is very important that we help it with external actions.
This also applies for victims or those with the symptoms. You can bounce back from this condition with little signs of ever been affected by one. As you will soon find out, there are prevention and recovery techniques you can do to heal yourself of this.
I also believe public education remains an important issue. Patients and families need to know by using 911 emergency system the patient will get assistance sooner. Also,
the National Stroke Association (opens new window)
has a prevention guideline available to patients. Patients can get more information by calling 1-800-STROKES or visiting their website.
As for victims who have suffered from this, or you may be concerned if you have symptoms or signs, here are a few things you need to know:
• Symptoms and signs you could be at risk
• Methods of prevention
• Natural ways to bounce back from this condition
