Crank Your Metabolism Up

Ready to crank your metabolism up so you can burn fat and shed unwanted pounds. Good, let’s begin. There are easy steps you can do to speed up your metabolism.

The first thing you can do to boost your metabolism is do what you already do, eat. Here’s something I want you to know, the slower the metabolic rate, the greater the weight gains. Fortunately there are metabolism boosting foods. Your metabolism can be speeded up so that your body WILL BURN FAT EVEN WHILE SLEEPING. But here’s the catch, instead of eating three big meals, which are composed of junk with no nutritional value, eat metabolism boosting foods and eat them often through out the day. You want to eat at least six small meals a day consisting of proteins like meat (thin cut), fish, nuts, and beans. Protein raises your metabolic rate like a furnace. “Negative calorie” foods like vegetables, are an excellent source of nutrition, But they effect weight lose differently than protein. The negative calorie foods aids in weight lose in another way as you will find out.

Be careful of eating starchy carbohydrates such as potatoes, corn, and bread made with refine flour and other refine foods. They will not boost your metabolism. Consider trying a low-carb diet, with the emphasis on protein for about a week.

But don’t stay on a low-carb diet because they are difficult to maintain over time. Switching to a diet which contains more protein for a week is easy, because these foods will get your metabolism revved up.

Remember to eat more often throughout the day, prefer at least six small meals a day, go to a low-carb diet for a week, and get ready to crank your metabolism up like a furnace.

Another thing you want to do crank up your metabolism is exercise. The more you get moving, the better it is to get your metabolism churning. Unfortunately, when it comes to boosting your metabolism, changing your diet alone won’t work. You need to get moving. Just by going for a brisk walk can boost your metabolism tremendously. Taking up cardio or aerobic exercises are even better. The object is to not only boost your metabolism, but to sweat those calories away.

So there you have it, to crank your metabolism up is not hard as most would think. Eat foods that boost your metabolism, start with a low-carb diet for about a week, and get moving. You’ll be on your way to a slimmer and healthier looking you.
