Ok now, back to why people become obese. You ready? Here they are.
First reason why people become obese is that people EAT BAD FOODS. This one reason alone is a mouthful. We live in a right now society and the gratification has to be instantly. This is why people can walk into a grocery store and buy foods that can easily be thawed and cooked in the microwave in minutes and eaten. Unfortunately these foods contain additives and preservatives that increase the amount of calories you eat in a day.
But the biggest form of bad foods comes in the form of fast foods. Yea I know the fast food restaurants are trying to change their image a little by offering more healthy choices. But let’s get real; the majority of people eat fast foods for the traditional brand, burger, hotdog, tacos, fries, soda or milkshake. Just keeping it real my friend. To get adult obesity under control simply avoid doing this. Reduce your intake of fast foods and prepare your food more, instead of the quick use of the microwave.
A second reason why adult obesity is on the rise is that people tend to EAT TO MUCH. Food portions have gotten way out of control. Now it seems more is in and least is out. If you are genuinely serious about losing weight and being healthy, try cutting back your portions by half. You’re probably saying that’s easy for you, but I have a suggestion. Pre pack your meals a head of time, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, into smaller portions or half the portion. That way you slowly begin to train yourself on smaller portions of food throughout the day. If you are someone with a weight issue, I encourage you to try this.
The Next reason is one that often goes over looked, people become obese because they EAT AT THE WRONG TIME. I’ve heard people say they skip eating breakfast because they just don’t have time to. Wrong answer! During this essentially dooms a person to weight loss failure. It is imperative that if you want to lose weight you must eat first thing after you get out of bed. Why? Because doing so kick starts your metabolism so it can function properly as you carry out your daily schedule. People should eat often throughout the day, like six or so small meals a day, instead of the traditional three meals a day. What this does is keep your metabolism constantly working and does not slow down. An active metabolism means an easier ability to burn calories.
Also if you have a weight problem, you want to avoid eating right before bedtime. To consume calories and then go to sleep is not wise because it does not give your body the means to burn them off. This means they get turned into fat and are stored and build up in places on your body you don’t want them to. If you are someone who is overweight or obese, at least give your body two hours to digest and burn those calories you just ate.
Another reason why adult obesity is becoming a major problem, has nothing to do with food, is that people just DON’T EXERCISE. If you can at least get some form of physical activity in your schedule, trust me, it will go a long way towards losing weight. To be in moderate shape you should get at least thirty minutes of exercise three times per week. What you want to do is get yourself moving, moving helps to burn calories. But, if you want that attractive, sleek, fit body, you should consider exercising five times a week for a minimum of forty five minutes to one hour. During this time frame your want to mix cardio and strenuous exercise together.
Enough has been said about how to lose weight, but not enough emphasize on avoiding the things that put the weight on in the first place, right? If you can avoid these mistakes in your life then you just have taken the first big steps towards a healthy, attractive, and fit lifestyle. You’re also distancing yourself from the rest of society with weight problems by taking charge of your life and proving to yourself and naysayer’s that you’re more than a conqueror. There’s always an amazing feeling when you stand out amongst the crowd with confidence and pride. Your personal fight against adult obesity began, but ends with you, it's your choice.
